What We Do
The 2025 Event will be held January 25th & 26th at Spooky Nook Sports in Hamilton, Ohio. There will be hundreds of adoptable pets (dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and other small critters) from many different rescue and shelter groups from around the Greater Cincinnati area available for adoption. All dogs and cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Why Should You Care?

Sure, we can show you attendance numbers and visitor profiles — we draw a crowd of more than 10,000 people every year to the My Furry Valetine event — but the simple truth is that we need you. In the end, My Furry Valentine’s aim is to save as many animals as possible. With a little help from our friends, we can keep bringing My Furry Valentine back to Cincinnati each year, making it free for all shelters and rescues to participate.

Every year, more than 30,000 healthy, adoptable animals are euthanized in Greater Cincinnati. Imagine how much of an impact we can make on that number when we work together. We’ll be able to help get these animals homes, freeing up spaces so that rescue groups can pull from high-kill shelters, and in turn, the high-kill shelters will not have to euthanize for space.
