Pet Bio: When Pony first came to us, he was absolutely emaciated. He looked like a skeleton, and had lots of scars and bald patches. It took him some time to heal up but he is now at a healthy weight with no baldness noted. He sure has come a long way since we first met him. Unfortunately due to his traumatic past, he does struggle with resource guarding. He is so afraid that each meal may be his last that he can’t quite get out of that survival mindset. This is something that with training can be improved but may be a quirk that will be managed long term. Pony is also very intelligent, very handsome, and very affectionate. He loves to rub up against you for scritches like a cat would. He is very trainable and is truly excelling in his work with our trainer. He is a very good boy and would love to show you just how special he is. Come meet him today!
