Meet Smokey — The King of Cuddles Smokey may be in hospice care, but he’s living every day with a heart full of love and a purr that could melt the coldest day. This silver-gray sweetheart is the definition of affectionate — he doesn’t just like being close, he insists on it! Smokey’s favorite spot is right on top of you (yes, even your face, if you’ll allow it). He’s known for his “pawsy” nature, gently reaching out with a soft paw to touch your cheek as he gazes into your eyes, as if to say, “I’m here, and I love you.” Due to masses in his mouth, Smokey drools quite a bit — but around here, we call that “liquid love.” His condition doesn’t stop him from enjoying the simple joys: warm laps, cozy blankets, and endless snuggles. Smokey reminds us that every day is a gift, and that love doesn’t have to last forever to be truly meaningful. He’s not just living out his days — he’s making them count, one cuddle at a time.
