This handsome orange boy is a survivor of hyperthyroidism thanks to a revolutionary radiation treatment that gave him a whole new lease on life. After his short (and slightly radioactive) stint in isolation, Claude began gaining weight like a champ — and he hasn’t looked back since! When he’s not staring blissfully into the void from the middle of the floor (classic orange behavior), you’ll find him gently tapping your lap to request his favorite thing in the world: pets and snuggles. Claude knows exactly where the important stuff is — his food dish, the couch, and the litter box — and he’ll proudly let you know when it’s mealtime. He’s equal parts silly and sweet, with a heart as big as his newly chubby belly. Claude may not be a rocket scientist, but he’s proof that a simple life filled with love, snacks, and naps is pure perfection.
