“Empowering all those who help needy animals” is not just a mission statement– it’s a promise.
Founded in 2010 by Dr. Zeke Zekoff, DVM, United Pet Fund is a dedicated support organization to the approximately 150 smaller nonprofit animal shelters, rescues and advocacy groups in the Tri-state. Dr. Zekoff and UPF are creating the region’s first dedicated Resource Center in Blue Ash for use by all these organizations and already offer services, resources, food and emergency funding when needed.
In addition to the Resource Center, United Pet Fund will continue to support the animal care and service organizations (ACSOs) by sponsoring continuing education seminars, membership and partnership with ReSource in Sharonville, Pet Health Day in Over the Rhine, and other needs as they arise. We believe just as the U.S.O. has the motto of supporting the troops ‘Until everyone comes home’, UPF shares one similar to that in supporting the small army of volunteers who take of animals, ‘Until all homeless pets find a home’.
