Pet Bio: My name was originally Domino 6 years ago when I was available for adoption the first time but my Mom named me Ricky. I spent 6 happy years with my adoptive Mom until she fell ill and her family needed to step in to find help for her animals. I was scanned by the local shelter where they reached out to Josephs Legacy to take me back. I am back and it’s been a hard change to adjust to. I am scared, confused and I miss my old life. I am doing my best to keep moving forward since everyone keeps telling me everything is going to be okay. I once lived with 7 other cats but hyper dogs kind of freak me out right now. I am looking to retire in to a calm and quiet home. I want my next home to be forever so if you have patience for an old cat like me, I’d love to be yours! I could really use a human who loves me as their own again. Domino loves people and if you’re looking for a calm and cuddly lap cat look no further! This little papaw is a cuddly teddy bear who loves sleeping with his humans all day and night. Domino’s estimated age is about 8 years old. He was first adopted from the rescue as a young cat to a sweet old lady who unfortunately became ill and hospitalized. He was taken to the pound and because he had a microchip the rescue picked him up. He had bad dental disease and had all his teeth removed, he feels much better. For this reason domino eats wet foot and dry kibble in water. Domino has a sweet and loving disposition, his favorite activities are sleeping on your lap and cuddling at bedtime. He sleeps very soundly on or against your body and in the crook of your arms. He has a playful side as well. He enjoys chasing feathers on a string and balls with bells in them. Domino is talkative and lets you know how he’s feeling (usually hungry!). He enjoys cat trees and cat beds as he spends most of his time there. It will probably take him a bit of time to feel safe in a new environment especially if there are other animals in the house. He gets along well with calm like-minded animals. He is timid with animals who are aggressive and like to chase. For this reason Domino would be comfortable around animals who are not interested in chasing him when he runs. This old man is ready to settle down in a chill home and spend his time bird watching and laying in the sun. Domino would make a lovely addition to any home looking for a calm and cuddly toothless cat.
