Pet Bio: Meet Darcy Darcy was found as a 3 month kitten running around Burnett Woods by UC. She was starving and emaciated and was likely dumped in the woods like so many others these days. Her coat is beautiful and reminds us of the Sand Cats of the Sahara Desert. Darcy is very shy and takes a couple of days to warm up to new situations. She probably would not appreciate a home with small children or dogs but would do well in a quiet place, perhaps with another cat. FIV/FeLV negative * Must be 21 or older to adopt *Our shelter has a policy to only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter.
