Pet Bio: Sweet Charmaine is a long-ish-haired Orange &White sweetie; around 2 years old. She’s pretty easy-going, & gets along pretty well with other cats & kittens. She was friendly & affectionate; so she was rescued from a very unsavory situation in Augusta, KY and brought to Purrfect Friends to help find her a wonderful new home. Now that we’ve gotten to know her, she is kinda’ considered “Special Needs” because she has a genetic condition known as “dry eye”; meaning that her tear ducts don’t produce enough tears & her eyes are often dry & irritated & have a bit of “sleep” in the corner of her eye. There’s no cure; the treatment is daily ointment or drops to add lubrication when it’s bothering her. She’s been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to start her new life in a new forever home.
