Pet Bio: Bongo was returned to rescue by his first adopter because she was a first time adult pet owner and as he grew, he became more than she could handle. This boy is very smart and will push boundaries if allowed. In rescue he is doing well with other dogs and is a very fun loving boy. He absolutely is passionate about his toys, he loves to fetch, but you will need two or three toys to throw, because while he loves the running to get them part…he is a tease about giving them back. He is crate trained and house trained. While he hasn’t shown aggression towards cats, he is overly interested in them and we wouldn’t recommend him for a family with cats. He would thrive as an only dog or with another dog, as long as it isn’t an alpha dog that would want to engage in dominance behavior.
