Pet Bio: Hey everyone. My name is Mantis. I’m what most call an “independent kitty”. I’m not a huge fan of humans touching me or cuddling me. I like to just exist with you. I love hanging out with my foster sibling tess! I would do great with her! I’ve been in care since I was a kitten and I bonded with tess immediately. Unfortunately that means that I am also shy like she is. Tess (another cat with the rescue) trusts humans much more than I do but I trust her! I need someone who is going to be patient with me and understand my boundaries. My foster momma thinks that with some one on one time or even one with a cat or two, I’ll start to open up. Right now I’ve bonded more with my kitty siblings than the humans no matter how much they try.
