Pet Bio: Billy Bob, much like a lot of us, takes a while to warm up to people. He is a little skeptical of new people and needs to be introduced several times in a gentle manner, but once you are in with Billy Bob, you are in for a load of kisses and laughs! He is a little clown who takes himself too seriously. He has had exponential growth in the past year but will still take a patient and understanding adopter who is ready to earn his trust and be an advocate for him in the world. He would do best in a quiet low traffic home. Kids make him very nervous along with anything else that is unpredictable. However he is highly intelligent, and learns easily. Once you are his friend, he loves to hang out on the couch with you and also go for walks and play with toys. We have not been able to acclimate Billy Bob to any dogs here at the shelter but was in a foster home with two other dogs who he loved and would even snuggle and nap with on the couch so we know that it is possible for him.
