Support My Furry Valentine
Every year, My Furry Valentine brings together thousands of animal lovers and dozens of local shelters and rescues for one of the largest pet adoption events in the country. None of it would be possible without the generosity of our community.
Whether you’re a business or an individual, there are three meaningful ways you can help us make this year’s event a success:
Donate a Raffle Prize
Businesses and individuals are invited to donate items that will be raffled off during the event. These raffle prizes add fun and excitement for attendees. Visitor raffle prizes are $25 or higher and higher-value prizes ($250+) will be reserved as special raffles for adopters bringing home their new best friends.
Examples of raffle prizes include:
- Gift cards to restaurants, shops, breweies, or services
- Gift baskets or themed bundles (pet supplies, spa packages, family fun packages)
- Event tickets or experiences
Donating a raffle prize is a great way to showcase your business to the thousands of pet lovers who attend the event, while directly supporting animal rescue.
Donate Goodie Bag Items
Each of our animal adopters take home a Goodie/Swag Bag. Adopter Goodie Bags items must have a retail value of $3+ and provided in a quantity to fill 250 cat adopter bags and/or 350 dog adopter bags. These individual items cannot be samples, standard giveaways or coupons.
Provide Promotional Items
You can also opt to provide a standard giveaways or coupon to be included in the adopter Goodie/Swag bags. There is a $200 fee to include promotional items in the adopter bags. You must provide enough items to be included in all 250 cat bags and/or 350 dog bags.
Make a Monetary Donation
Prefer to make a monetary donation rather than items? That helps too! Every dollar donated helps us bring this incredible adoption event to life — covering venue costs, supplies, promotion, and resources that make it possible for rescues and shelters to participate.
Your gift ensures that hundreds of dogs, cats, and other animals will find their forever homes.
No amount is too small — every gift makes a difference.
My Furry Valentine is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN #47-1892268 . Contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extend of the law. In order to receive the full promotional benefits of your contribution, your donation must be received no later than January 19th.
