Bertha is our longest resident she has been at the shelter since June of 2024. She is spayed, up to date on shots. She is 6 and a half years old. Weighs around 85lbs. Bertha is a calm, quiet girl who loves staying close to her favorite people. She’d thrive as the only pet in a peaceful, adult-only home with no chaos. She enjoys the outdoors—rain or shine—and is always up for a little adventure. In the house, she has excellent manners: no chewing, no accidents, and she keeps her crate clean. She enjoys being brushed, takes her meds easily (especially with treats), and clearly lets you know when she needs to go out. Bertha may bark at unfamiliar or loud noises, but she’s simply being alert. Sweet, loyal, and a little goofy, she’s always ready for cuddles. If you’re looking for a devoted companion to share a calm life with, Bertha is your girl.
