Jinx – Spotlight Animal

Animal Friend Humane Society

Jinx is a male that has been neutered, he is 3 and a half years old. He has been at the shelter since July of 2025. We have Jinx as our Spotlight dog because he is struggling at the shelter. He has high FAS and kennel stress. We know that in a home he would shine and be the best guy that he could be. He was in a foster home over Christmas, and this is what they had to say about him: ” Jinx is a sweet, playful, and energetic boy who is adjusting beautifully to home life. He rides well in the car, settles nicely in a crate, and has shown great manners in the house—with only one early accident and no destructive behavior. He walks well on a slip lead with minimal pulling and stays focused, even around kids, bikes, and other dogs. Jinx is affectionate and loves to snuggle, gently nibbling hair and ears, and he responds well to correction when he gets a little mouthy during play. He releases toys and treats easily and shows no signs of resource guarding. Curious about squirrels but respectful of fences, he enjoys outdoor time and would thrive with an active family or a playful canine companion. Overall, Jinx is a loving, well-mannered pup with lots of potential and so much heart. “
