We all love our pets, that’s why we created this event, to help more wonderful animals into loving homes. But bringing your pet to this event is discouraged, unless you are planning to adopt and are testing temperaments. We’re expecting a lot of people and we want to ensure everyone’s safety.
If you plan on adopting a new pet and want to introduce them to your current pet, you are allowed to bring them to the event if they are leashed, socialized and well-behaved, animal and people-friendly, current on all required vaccinations and spayed/neutered.
At the main event, there will be several fenced areas for your current pet to interact freely with adoptable pets under your supervision.
How much is the adoption fee?
We will have dozens of different rescues and shelters attending our main event, and even more at satellite locations. Each of their adoption fees and applications vary, so be sure to learn more about them and view their available animals on our Featured Pet Gallery page. Click on the links for more information about their adoption process, fees, etc.
Please note that not every participating rescue offers on-site (same-day) adoptions at the Main Event.
Will the Main Event be held if the weather is bad?
As long as driving conditions are safe, the My Furry Valentine Main Event at the Sharonville Convention Center, will happen as planned. The Main Event is held entirely indoors.
There are several participating locations throughout the city and we cannot guarantee that they will happen as advertised, especially in inclement weather. Please contact the participating locations directly if you have any questions.
If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please let us know!
