Clermont to the Rescue Humane Society, originally founded in 2013, is a nonprofit, open admissions shelter, advocating for stray, abandoned and surrendered animals in Clermont County by providing care and temporary refuge. Our Animal Control Officers are devoted to protecting and ensuring the humane treatment of the animals in our community.
Our long term goal is to institute programs and offer resources that establish a sense of responsibility, kindness and empathy towards animals, thus dramatically reducing euthanasia. Everyone plays a vital role in making this world a better place for both people and animals.
We believe, “If everyone does a little, it becomes a lot”.
Adoptable Animal Types & Adoption Fees
Clermont to the Rescue has the following adoptable animal types available and their adoption fees are as follows:
- Dogs: $75.00
- Cats: $25.00
All of their adoptable animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption, current on all DHPP/FVRCP and Bordatella vaccines, microchipped, and if age appropriate, all of their animals are rabies vaccinated.
They fill out an adoption questionnaire. When reviewing we look to see if they rent or own, if they have a fence, and if their current animals are altered and licensed, and they need to do a meet and greet with their dogs.
My Furry Valentine Participation
Clermont to the Rescue will be attending the My Furry Valentine Main Event both days. They will bring some adoptable dogs and cats and will conduct on-site adoptions with pre-approved applications. You can learn more about their adoptable animals by using the contact information below.
